Thanksgiving a life shared

Thanksgiving is a way of life that is shared. 
It becomes the lasting impression you give to someone. 
A time for family and friends to settle into a new way of life.
A change recognize, a negative thought reversed,
a smile placed on the heart  of the one who thought no one cared.


Thanksgiving is a time of reflection. 
A time to remember a loved one who has passed on
to a new life.  
A time to say...I am here for you. 
Thanksgiving reminds me of a life filled with obstacles, 
good and bad and giving thanks for all of them.
Sharing with your children the memories 
of your childhood, while watching them make their own.
I am thankful for all of it.

What happens on Mondays

There are some exciting moments this season. Changes that I had not expected but welcome nonetheless. It a pleasurable invite to the changes in life. Monday happens to be the day I love to participate in. The early morning class brings a freshness to the day.  After that, well i have time to adjust to the rest of my day. I am thankful to working in a time where so much is happening. Being able to filter out the parts of life that are not beneficial is a blessing unto itself. I welcome all things that happen on a Monday, for I have the rest of the week to work on it and the a Sunday to forgive and forget any stresses of the week.

Something About a Sunday Morning

As I enter and sit I look around at the place I call my home. 
I see faces familiar and some not so much so, yet still they are family. 
They are welcome in my heart as see their face. 
As I sit in my quiet corner in the back, I am reminded that again I am there 
to serve others and nourish my soul through a beautiful balance
of love and understanding. This place I find comfort in - is a place that you 
should come to. It provides a peacefulness, similar to natures backdoor of the 
wilderness that has been removed from so many.  The voices of the children 
bring back those childhood moments of long ago.  It's a place I am welcome 
all year long. I could leave once day and return to hear the same old song.

Saturday's Lunch in a Quiet place

Early to rise makes a person healthy,wealthy and wise.
Well I don't know about all those put together, but I am sure
certain that the older you get the more you need something to do and someone to do it with.

Taking two great ladies to lunch was a fun experience.
They enjoyed each others company and talked about life
and the pursuit of getting on in years. It gave my life yesterday more
purpose and was meaningful for them.

One one likes to see their parents get old, but at least i have the time
to spend getting a little older with them by my side.

It's another memory i have packed a way for a rainy day!

The Times of Change

The times of change are coming.
I can feel it. It's running deep within
the walls of my soul. Infusing in the veins of life are my
thoughts of change. I am changing for the better. 
Creating a simple life out of chaos becomes the choice.
